Cattaraugus Free Library Board Minutes 03/26/2025

Meeting was called to order by President Edward Erhart at 4:40 pm

In attendance: Ed Erhart, Sue Gilman, Sandy Blood, Heather Gogel, Tyler Soderlund

A motion was made by Heather and 2nd by Sue to accept the Secretaries report as written – Carried

A motion was made by Sandy and 2nd by Heather to accept the treasures reports as written. Carried

A motion was made by Sandy, 2nd by Heather to accept the director report as written. – Carried

Old Business – Our new computer has arrived and is up and running. Our old computer will be sent back to systems

                        Our new phone lines are in and the high-speed internet is in.

New Business – We have begun advertising our Easter events

                         National Library week starts on April 7th, Tyler is planning on having a guessing game with whoever

                         comes closest winning a prize.  The object is to guess how many books we have in the library.

                          We are now set up with PayPal so we can receive PayPal donations and we can apply for grants through

                         MLA.

During our Summer reading program Tyler has contracted a Magician for July 25th. A 45-minute magic show will be held in the library.

Our next meeting is on April 30, 2025. Reports are due by the 18th of April.
